TERM 1 PASSION PROJECT REFLECTION How did you go with your passion project this term?  Did you succeed or not? We did succeed and we went great because we helped each other when we needed it so we could get it done faster. What were the skills/reasons that helped you succeed? The skills that helped us succeed were： The first reason that we succeed was because we didn't get distracted so we got a lot of slides done in the right time. The second is because we spent a lot of time on it so it is really detailed.  What are the specific skills that you learnt during your passion project? That we were really focused so we wouldn't get distracted and we would keep on going with our work also we wouldn't go off task. What are you most proud of with your passion project? Addition and Subtraction This term for math's we have been looking into addition and subtraction. Here is a slideshow with me showing you some of my learning this term. Please make sure you watch the videos too.

WEEK 9 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? My writing because I got a little mixed up with my plan. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? So I had to make some changes so it would make sense and sound better.   What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? My math rich math task about money and how much money Billy can save in his full piggy bank. Why are you proud if it? Because at first I got a little stuck then I read it over and over again until I got what it means.

Science in a Van Name 3 things you learnt at Science in a Van? That gravity pulls us down to the ground and there is no gravity in outer space so you float in the air. That less mass more force because there is less mass they jet pack has to hold so it can go further. That the bigger force the longer and faster some or someone can go. Who was the man behind the laws of motion? Isaac Newton.  What did you find interesting about Science in a van I found the less mass the more force. What was the best joke the presenters told? That The L&P joke when he said don't worry if the water gets on you because it is just like L&P but with-out the L and also the chicken when he says that they look after animals but then they said  that the chicken natural habitat is the  KFC  bucket.

WEEK 8 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? Me and Georgia achieved getting 9 slides done on our passion project about volcanoes witch is really fun because there is a lot of fun stuff that you can learn about volcanoes.   What challenges did I have? We had challenges with figuring out what our titles would be for our slides also it was hard to find all the correct information and a little hard to put in our own words so we went on dictionary to find other meaning of this word that we don't know is magma witch kind of means the same thing as lava. What am I going to work on next week? We are going to work next week about getting more information and not so much pictures as information because if we use too much pictures we won't have enough information.
