WEEK 7 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? The learning I found challenging this week is cycle safety  when ken wanted us to do hand signals and I couldn't do  the right hand and only the left. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I tried my best and even though l didn't hold it for 3 secs I still tried and managed  to succeed to hold it for 2 secs close enough right? What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? My piece of work that I a most proud of is my writing about a advert of the bike that we choose. Why are you proud if it? I am proud of it because I thought of interesting words and use some new vocab to make my add more attractive.

WEEK 7 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? This week I found reading challenging because there were a lot of hard words that I didn't know how to pronounce because we were reading about tectonic plates. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I highlighted the words that I didn't know so Mr J could  tell us what the words  meant and so when we do our I think that means statement  we would know what  the words mean and not just say random words. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? I am most proud of my inquiry about Iceland and its volcanoes.  Why are you proud if it? I am proud of it Because  I got lots of facts about  I ce land so when I did my  slides I would have enough  facts to full my science slide up.    

WEEK 4 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? I found my reading challenging because there were  too much hard words and long words that I don't know how to pronounce. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? We highlighted the words that we didn't understand so then the teacher can explain them for us. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? Writing about our super hero's adventure plan. Why are you proud if it? Because I used a lot of cool features and interesting words to make my writing fun and interesting to read not boring.

WEEK 3 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? My writing because I had some really good ideas but I didn't know how to put them into good sentences that aren't boring. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I asked Ruby and Hannah if it makes sense and does it fit in with what I'm writing to and what other language features I can add to make my writing more interesting. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? I am most proud of my math. Why are you proud if it? Because even though I already know what we are learning about I was still listening

WEEK 2 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? I found my inquiry hard because it was hard to keep up to the video while I was watching the video and writing at the same time. The video and explanation didn't give me enough time to write all the facts down in one look at the screen. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I used a growth mindset by realising that Mr g was actually writing the main points onto the whiteboard so I could just add the main points onto my book so then I could get my work done. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? I am most proud of my rich math task in math when you have to make a shape with the instructions. Why are you proud if it? I am proud of it because even though at first I didn't know how to do it but I still followed the instructions to do it. 

WEEK 7 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? I found my writing hard because I am not that good at writing reports and also I did not have a lot of ideas about this piece of writing but I still tried my best and I did get it done so I am very glad I did. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I overcame these learning challenges by asking Haylee M witch she sat next to me if it makes sense or not and if it doesn't makes sense I would try and change it and at last it would be all sorted. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? I am most proud of my math my rich math task when you have to figure out how much cubes are in each box and make the two sides equal the same weight so it would be fair on both sides. Why are you proud if it? I am proud of it because at first I had no idea how to do it but after asking miss Harsent I knew so I decided to try a few num...

WEEK 6 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? I found my reading difficult because there was a lot of new words that I didn't know and that I couldn't pronounce the words that were really long so they were really hard. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I asked people around me then Mr J told us to highlight the words that we  didn't know so he could explain what the words mean. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? I am most proud of my writing about different sentence starters like  compound simple and complex. Why are you proud if it? I am proud of it because I didn't know how to write all kinds of sentences but after Mr J taught us how to I knew how to straight away.

WEEK 4 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? My math because the sheet was quite hard because they were all big numbers so it took a while to do them but with a little help I did manage to get a little done.  How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I asked for help and Haylee helped me also we helped each other so we got quite a few questions done. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? My reading that was about the Basilisk Lizard. I am proud of it because I had a lot of detail in my planing and it was just enough to fit in my sheet.  Why are you proud if it? I am proud of it because I had a lot of detail in my planing and it was just too much to fit in my sheet but I still managed to fit it all in.

WEEK 3 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? I found my math a little hard because I found it hard to halve big numbers because I'm not use to halving big numbers.　　 How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I asked what is the easiest way to halve big numbers and Miss Harsent helped me so I then knew how to halve big numbers. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? My writing. We were highlighting keys words from a description about hippos. Why are you proud if it? I am proud of it because at first I didn't know how to find the key words but then Mrs Fahey explained it to us so I knew.

WEEK 2 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? What I found challenging is my writing because I didn't have a lot of ideas but I did manage to finish it after I finished it I helped Eilish because she was a little stuck. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I kept on thinking and I asked other people for some simple ideas that I could use in my writing. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? My reading, and for our reading we had Mr J read off his phone to us and when he stops we have to imagine the picture in our head and then draw it down after we draw it we have to write what we think that the character is thinking on the outside. Why are you proud if it? I am proud of it because Mr J said that you don't have to worry about the picture but you have to focused on the feelings and I wrote some feelings about each picture and I didn't draw the picture as neat. 

WEEK 9 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? My writing because I got a little mixed up with my plan. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? So I had to make some changes so it would make sense and sound better.   What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? My math rich math task about money and how much money Billy can save in his full piggy bank. Why are you proud if it? Because at first I got a little stuck then I read it over and over again until I got what it means.

WEEK 8 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? I found my math rich math task challenging because I had no idea how to make all the rows into the same number because I had to use all the numbers and I just couldn't make one row equal 29. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I asked miss Harsent and she said don't worry about it because she was going to do a workshop on this activity.    What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? My writing. Why are you proud if it? Because I wrote a lot and I also re-read it and I also made sure that it made sense also I used all kinds of sentence starters so it won't sound boring when someone readies it. 

WEEK 7 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? I found writing a little hard because I wasn't to sure about what words to use were. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I used a growth mindset by asking Ruby if it makes sense or not. + What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this wee k? My math because I at first thought it was really hard but then I  caught up with it really easily.

WEEK 6 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? My writing because it was a little hard and I couldn't add the correct words.  How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I used a growth mindset because I asked where to put what word. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? My math. Why are you proud if it? Because at first I didn't know how to do adding decimals but then I asked my mum when I got home and now I think it is really easy.

WEEK 5 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? Reading, because there were some challenging words that I couldn't pronounce. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I asked Miss Harsent what the word means and how to pronounce it then I just practised a few times then I got it. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? Writing because I added detail, and miss Lamond said I did good. Why are you proud if it? Because I added detail, and miss Lamond said I did a great job.

CONNECT REFLECTION - WEEK 1 What does our new value - CONNECT - mean? For me connect means working together to help each other when they are stuck, or unsure about something, because connect means kind of the same thing to connection, and I know what connection means, so I kind of have a idea what connect will mean, and I also think connect means if you know someone needs help you can always go along, and help them. How have you Connected this week?  Remember to show evidence, actual times, and how. I have been showing connect when I was helping Bella on her word find after morning tea. How could you become better at this value? To make more connection with more people like make new friends, or help people that need help also I can opp into more other stuff in the school to connect with the community.
