WEEK 7 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? Me and Ruby decided to make some cute edible snow mans using orange flavoured gummies that are also orange coloured, we also used pretzel sticks, marshmallows and some long tooth pics to hold them together. What challenges did I have? We had challenges poking holes to  fit the pretzel sticks and cutting the  gummies to make it fit in the hole of  the marshmallow. What am I going to work on next week? We are going to paint rocks of Santa Claus because it is nearly Christmas, and also if we have time we are going to start our presentation.

WEEK 7 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? The learning I found challenging this week is cycle safety  when ken wanted us to do hand signals and I couldn't do  the right hand and only the left. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I tried my best and even though l didn't hold it for 3 secs I still tried and managed  to succeed to hold it for 2 secs close enough right? What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? My piece of work that I a most proud of is my writing about a advert of the bike that we choose. Why are you proud if it? I am proud of it because I thought of interesting words and use some new vocab to make my add more attractive.

WEEK 6 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? We achieved making the reindeer using candy canes, brown pipe cleaners,  googly eyes, hot glue guns, scissors, and red pom poms it was very yummy  we made 10 altogether including 4 for the teachers ( Mrs Fahey, Miss Harsent,  Ms hazlett, and Mr J) the other 6 me and Ruby spilt evenly so we got 3 each.   What challenges did I have? We had challenges trying to not  burn our fingers with the hot glue  guns and trimming the pom poms  because they were to big and  wouldn't fit onto the candy cane.  What am I going to work on next week? The snow man using white marshmallows, pretzel sticks, long tooth picks to put the marshmallows onto and chocolate to make the eyes and the mouth.

Athletics  Reflection \ 1. How did your athletics practices go?  good because I kept on trying my  best and even when I failed I kept  on trying and didn't give up. 2.  In what event did you most improve your technique? How? shot put because every time I threw it more faraway  from me and I did the right moves to push it out. 3. What value did you show on Friday at Athletics most? How? I showed be brave and respect by helping others and giving things a go even when I didn't want to do it I still did it. 4. Who else did you notice showing one of our school values (they could be from another class or syndicate)? How? Ruby Ann Wilson showed be brave by giving things a go and never giving up

WEEK 5 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? We were researching and finding crafts to do next week, we came up with the candy cane reindeer, the marshmallow snowman and last but not least the Santa Claus rock painting. What challenges did I have? We found it hard to find some stuff that are not so much to eat and some crafts that don't involve cooking so we had a look on pinterest and some other websites to find ideas. What am I going to work on next week? We are going to make the reindeer using red pom poms, brown pipe cleaners, googly eyes and mint flavoured candy canes we are also gonna try research some more ideas if we finish in time.

WEEK 1 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? This week I found my math hard because we were  doing a test and there were a lot of hard questions  that I didn't know how to do. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? Well I just kept going and actually got most of them right because I kept  trying and didn't give up. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? My writing about the eagle trying to eat the squirrel .  Why are you proud if it? Because I used some new words and I tried to make   my writing interesting. 

WEEK 4 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? I found my reading challenging because there were  too much hard words and long words that I don't know how to pronounce. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? We highlighted the words that we didn't understand so then the teacher can explain them for us. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? Writing about our super hero's adventure plan. Why are you proud if it? Because I used a lot of cool features and interesting words to make my writing fun and interesting to read not boring.

WEEK 3 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? We made little bows with silk/ribbons and we also hot glued plain black hair ties onto the bows that we made. What challenges did I have? We had challenges making the bows and making them symmetrical on both sides so it wouldn't look weird. What am I going to work on next week? We are going to start on our presentation with is a slide so we can show what we have done these three weeks.

PASSION PROJECT PROPOSAL My Passion Project title is…   making our own decorations. What are my big questions to guide my learning? What kind of Decorations are there? How are these Decorations Made? Do these Decorations actually work? I chose this particular topic because….(give three reasons why?) Because we have an interest in Decorations. Because we have always wanted to do Decorations. Because we like decorating and making crafts and Decorations are like crafts. What are some possible ways I could share my learning?  Choose 3 possible ways. 1) Slideshow - Showing how our Decorations  work. 2) Poster - To show pictures of our progress and our finished product. 3) Diorama - So then we can show what our Passion Project is about. WEEK 2 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? We achieved making our own glow balls and when you shake them you will be able to see the glitter in them if you shake them. What challenges did I have? We had challenges getting the inside of the glass to show properly because the water melts with the die and so then it is hard to see through it. What am I going to work on next week? We are going to make bows that we can put on our jars to decorate with so they can be more pretty.

WEEK 2 REFLECTION What Learning did you find challenging this week? I found my inquiry hard because it was hard to keep up to the video while I was watching the video and writing at the same time. The video and explanation didn't give me enough time to write all the facts down in one look at the screen. How did you use a growth mindset to overcome these learning challenges? I used a growth mindset by realising that Mr g was actually writing the main points onto the whiteboard so I could just add the main points onto my book so then I could get my work done. What is the piece of the work you are most proud of this week? I am most proud of my rich math task in math when you have to make a shape with the instructions. Why are you proud if it? I am proud of it because even though at first I didn't know how to do it but I still followed the instructions to do it. 

WEEK 2 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?   what we achieved this week was getting most of our research done also                                we did get our passion project proposal done as well putting it on all of our                             blogs so we are not behind.   What challenges did I have?   The challenges that we had was sorting out what we are gong to create because there were a lot of choices so we couldn't make up our mind, and also who is going to do the presentation . What am I going to work on next week? What we are going to work on next week is working together and to find some other cool things on the internet so we can find more decorations that maybe we could make
