WEEK 6 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? We achieved making the reindeer using candy canes, brown pipe cleaners,  googly eyes, hot glue guns, scissors, and red pom poms it was very yummy  we made 10 altogether including 4 for the teachers ( Mrs Fahey, Miss Harsent,  Ms hazlett, and Mr J) the other 6 me and Ruby spilt evenly so we got 3 each.   What challenges did I have? We had challenges trying to not  burn our fingers with the hot glue  guns and trimming the pom poms  because they were to big and  wouldn't fit onto the candy cane.  What am I going to work on next week? The snow man using white marshmallows, pretzel sticks, long tooth picks to put the marshmallows onto and chocolate to make the eyes and the mouth.

My Passion Project title is…christmas crafts Who am I working with? Ruby and Fiona What are my big questions to guide my learning? how to make fun Christmas crafts and what are he best ones to make? I chose this particular topic because….(give three reasons why?) We chose this because Christmas is coming up and we want to make some Christmas  What are some possible ways I could share my learning?  Choose 3 possible ways. 1) poster 2) slide show 3) diagram What materials will I need to accomplish my task? hot glue gun, tinsel, jars, candy/chocolate, paper, scissors, computer What problems do I foresee occurring during this project and what will I do to solve them? maybe we will not know how to make them so we will watch videos and find out what is the correct way to make them. WEEK 4 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? Our group managed to get a head start on our presentation so we could do more slides and make our presentation more interesting. What challenges did I have? We got a little stuck on rating them and getting enough slides to present so we can continue our presentation  next week. What am I going to work on next week? We are going to finish our presentation so we can present.

WEEK 3 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? We made little bows with silk/ribbons and we also hot glued plain black hair ties onto the bows that we made. What challenges did I have? We had challenges making the bows and making them symmetrical on both sides so it wouldn't look weird. What am I going to work on next week? We are going to start on our presentation with is a slide so we can show what we have done these three weeks.

PASSION PROJECT PROPOSAL My Passion Project title is…   making our own decorations. What are my big questions to guide my learning? What kind of Decorations are there? How are these Decorations Made? Do these Decorations actually work? I chose this particular topic because….(give three reasons why?) Because we have an interest in Decorations. Because we have always wanted to do Decorations. Because we like decorating and making crafts and Decorations are like crafts. What are some possible ways I could share my learning?  Choose 3 possible ways. 1) Slideshow - Showing how our Decorations  work. 2) Poster - To show pictures of our progress and our finished product. 3) Diorama - So then we can show what our Passion Project is about. WEEK 2 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? We achieved making our own glow balls and when you shake them you will be able to see the glitter in them if you shake them. What challenges did I have? We had challenges getting the inside of the glass to show properly because the water melts with the die and so then it is hard to see through it. What am I going to work on next week? We are going to make bows that we can put on our jars to decorate with so they can be more pretty.

WEEK 6 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? I achieved getting all my research done so now I can start making my book and paint the cardboard for the front of the book. What challenges did I have? The challenges I had was putting all the information I got to put it in my own words and also it was hard to get all the right information about the animals we are doing. What am I going to work on next week? I am going to work on getting my passion project done also to write all the information in with out messing it up so I do not have to keep getting new pieces of paper to write our ideas.

WEEK 6 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time?   We finished our booklet of researching and now we are up to putting it in our own words witch will be really easy  because we just have to put it in our definition. What challenges did I have?  We had some challenges to find the right information but we did manage to get it done on our fact sheet about endangered animals because we worked in a team so we could get get it done in time. What am I going to work on next week? We are going to work on putting our researching in our own words in the docs about each endangered animals so we can know more about them.

WEEK 4 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? I achieved my passion project proposal that I got marked off by Mr J and he said that he is looking forward to our project. What challenges did I have? I had some problems working out the big questions because we were a little mixed up of all the questions that we could put down so I don't know witch ideas to put down. What am I going to work on next week? I am going to work on my researching about endangered animals so we could know more about endangered animals.

TERM 1 PASSION PROJECT REFLECTION How did you go with your passion project this term?  Did you succeed or not? We did succeed and we went great because we helped each other when we needed it so we could get it done faster. What were the skills/reasons that helped you succeed? The skills that helped us succeed were： The first reason that we succeed was because we didn't get distracted so we got a lot of slides done in the right time. The second is because we spent a lot of time on it so it is really detailed.  What are the specific skills that you learnt during your passion project? That we were really focused so we wouldn't get distracted and we would keep on going with our work also we wouldn't go off task. What are you most proud of with your passion project? WEEK 8 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? Me and Georgia achieved getting 9 slides done on our passion project about volcanoes witch is really fun because there is a lot of fun stuff that you can learn about volcanoes.   What challenges did I have? We had challenges with figuring out what our titles would be for our slides also it was hard to find all the correct information and a little hard to put in our own words so we went on dictionary to find other meaning of this word that we don't know is magma witch kind of means the same thing as lava. What am I going to work on next week? We are going to work next week about getting more information and not so much pictures as information because if we use too much pictures we won't have enough information.

WEEK 7 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? We achieved 6 slides of our presentation. What challenges did I have? We had some challenges trying to find the correct websites and the correct facts.  What am I going to work on next week? We are going to work on our presentation and try and make it nearly finish.
