E-PORTFOLIO - Writing Term One
ACHIEVEMENT OBJECTIVES:
Structure:
L2: Organise texts, using a range of structures.
Indicators:
  • Uses knowledge of word and sentence order to communicate meaning when creating text.
  • Organises and sequences ideas and information with some confidence.
  • Begins to use a variety of sentence structures, beginnings, and lengths.


L3: Organise texts, using a range of appropriate structures
Indicators:
  • Organises written ideas into paragraphs with increasing confidence.
  • Uses a variety of sentence structures, beginnings, and lengths.


L4: Organise texts, using a range of appropriate structures.
  • Organise and sequences ideas and information for a particular purpose or effect;
  • Uses a variety of sentences structures, beginnings, and lengths for effect.


Go through your writing and highlight examples of the following sentences.
Simple sentences - green
Compound sentences - yellow
Complex sentences - light blue
STORY:

 Just as captain polar bear finished the announcement there was a big roar from the back of the plane
, and out came an orange fluffy lion roaring at everyone. The captain came out and said "it's okay everyone it is just a cub" that was a big fright after saying that the captain quickly hushed the lion cub back to were it came from. 

 A few minutes later my mates and me decided to order some food, so we all went and took a piece of chocolate fudge cake delicious. Suddenly we all felt a bump ouch. do you want a another piece of cake even though I don't think you really like it I thought, anyway I still asked"nah" I'll just take a coke get Kacey and me one too.

 Look Nicole's awake YAY lightly yelled Eilish finally. Nicole you have been sleeping for an hour ‘REALLY“ Nicole said yep can't be wrong jinks Eilsh said.

Hey want to watch a movie asked Kacey sure we all screamed happily what should we watch Georgia asked um so then we watched a movie though I didn't really know what we were watching. Attention too all passengers there is a fire on the plane what. how did the fire start Eilish asked hmm I think someone was smoking, and catched a fire LOOK SMOKE AAH beep beep beep oh no the plane is going to crash we all felt the plane falling straight down.WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT.

    Fiona, you are getting the idea of using different types of sentences. Remember to re-read to check it makes sense, especially when you are using direct speech. That can get tricky and make it hard for the reader to follow.

Weekly Passion Project Reflection

WEEK 4 REFLECTION What did I achieve this week during Passion Project time? I achieved my passion project proposal that I got marked off by Mr J and he said that he is looking forward to our project. What challenges did I have? I had some problems working out the big questions because we were a little mixed up of all the questions that we could put down so I don't know witch ideas to put down. What am I going to work on next week? I am going to work on my researching about endangered animals so we could know more about endangered animals.
